Memorial Dance for the late Myrtle Tolonen at 4 p.m. Also Crystal Geroux Brunk will offer a pink shawl honor dance to raise awareness of breast cancer, celebrate survivors and mourn those who succumbed to the disease.

“Let’s all come and celebrate and use this as an opportunity to come together, socialize and have fun as a community striving for peace,” said Councilman and head veteran dancer Rodney Loonsfoot, whose parents Marilyn and Charles “Chuck” Loonsfoot Sr. will be the honored tribal elders at the festivities. Loonsfoot is one of the Wiikwedong Ogichidaa Society drummers
