Fun Time At 45th Annual Stanford Powwow

Every Mother’s Day’s Weekend The Stanford American Indian Organization (SAIO) and the Stanford Powwow Planning Committee Host This Powwow.

We spent the better part of Saturday in Palo Alto at the 45th Annual Stanford powwow, one of the biggest powwows organized by students. Despite little periods of light rain, the powwow weather was good, with enough cloud cover to keep everyone cool but not dampen spirits. Lots of dancers and drums and plenty of food and arts/crafts vendors to satisfy all shoppers and all appetites. It was great to see old friends and make new ones, take photos, watch the dancers, listen to the drums and have a fun time.
