36th Annual Gathering of Nations Powwow, April 26-27, 2019, at the Powwow Grounds at Tingley Coliseum in in Albuquerque, New Mexico. North America’s biggest powwow attracts more than 3,500 dancers and 150,000 spectators during the last week of April. Over $200,000 in Cash & Prizes to singers and dancers. Activities include a Miss Indian World cultural (not beauty) pageant (that takes place on Thursday night at the Albuquerque Convention Center), Stage 49 (Contemporary Music/Performance stage), Indian Traders’ Market (over 400 Arts & Crafts vendors), Native Food Court and more. Miss Indian World Talent Presentations
The GON Pow Wow’s Miss Indian World Talent Presentations will be held in the Kiva Auditorium located at the Albuquerque Convention Center (Downtown Albuquerque). A Young Native American Woman will be crowned after the Saturday Grand Entry with the title of Miss Indian World to presents all native and indigenous people as a cultural goodwill ambassador.

2-Day Gathering of Nations Pow Wow
The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow itself is a 2 day event (Friday and Saturday) held in Albuquerque. The GON Powwow experience is for all people (Indian and Non-Indian) to come see colorful Native American Pow Wow dancing, to hear the songs and become enlightened with emotional happiness!
The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow hosts tens of thousands of people and more than 700 tribes from throughout the United States, Canada, and around the world each year. The three-day event includes more than 3,000 traditional Native American singers and dancers competing for prizes, more than 800 Native American artisans, craftsmen and traders displaying and selling their work, as well as over 30 contemporary indigenous music groups performing on Stage 49

Stage 49
Stage 49 is included in the cost of admission to the GON Pow Wow. Come and enjoy two days – Friday and Saturday at the Gathering of Nations Stage 49 – contemporary Native music and entertainment is highlighted featuring Native Musicians performing in all genres of music: Rock, Blues, Reggae, Hip Hop, Country, DJ’s, Jam Bands, and more.
A Full Production premier stage, Stage 49 is instrumental in launching new and showcasing established Native American talent. Entertainers are also featured daily before “Grand Entry” during the PowWow in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Don’t miss these featured acts and come meet the bands at the Emergence Productions Stage 49 tent!
