All are welcome at the 14th Annual Lawilowan American Indian Festival at Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Lawilowan American Indian Festival is our Indoor, Midwinter gathering, that began in March of 2007. The powwow provides an opportunity for both observers and participants to connect with American Indian culture on a deeper level in a natural environment. The one day, non-competitive, traditional powwow is one of the largest in the area and draws as many as 500 dancers, 24 vendors, and about 2000 attendees each year.
