The festival is a free event held in the Litchfield Park Town Center.

The event highlights the finest southwest Native American art, entertainment and learning opportunities throughout the weekend. A Festival Prelude will be hosted on Friday evening at The Wigwam.

Each year at our festival we share with others how Native American heritage is celebrated through the arts.  There will be active teaching, demonstrating and presentations throughout the festival.  This year’s festival will also include a special 25th Anniversary Celebration.  We are proud of the role our festival plays in helping the public understand, enjoy and collect Native American art.

Over 100 of the finest Native American artists and artisans in the Southwest, representing numerous tribal affiliations, participate in this award-wining “invitation only” festival.  A balance of art forms will be on display and for sale throughout the weekend.  Festival patrons can peruse a fabulous selection of traditional and contemporary Native American masterpieces, including: beadwork, clothing, jewelry, paintings and prints, pottery, sculptures, and weaving.

Please join us in congratulating returning festival artist Amado Peña.  He is the winner of the poster art contest for our 25th Anniversary Celebration!  Amado’s hand-pulled, limited edition serigraph, “Mestizo Series: Tesoros del Pueblo” was the top choice among numerous worthy submissions.  The selected artwork will be used by the 2017 Festival Planning Committee for its festival promotion, giving Amado invaluable print and web exposure.  Our thanks to all of the artists who participated in this year’s poster art contest!
