The Natchez Powwow is not a competition powwow, it is a traditional powwow with people coming to enjoy the singing and dancing. Native Americans from the Choctaw, Comanche, Kiowa, Natchez, Otoe and Pawnee tribes and other native and non-native dancers and singers will be represented at the annual Natchez Powwow for traditional dancing and singing.

Gourd dancing  will begin at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, Gourd Dance will begin at 1 p.m. Grand entry and inter-tribal dancing begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on both days. Craft and Food Booths open 10 am on Saturday and 11 am on Sunday. A traditional camp feed for all singers, head staff, dancers and friends and family will be served Saturday evening at 5 pm.

If it rains the Natchez Powwow will take place in the gym at Trinity Episcopal Day School.

Tickets for the Powwow are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 years and younger. Booths vending crafts and food will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. It is advised to bring seating.

Open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sundays 1:30 to 5 p.m. Admission is free during regular operating hours. Donation for gate entry: $5 for Adults, $3 for Children
