NATIVE AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT

Stage Performances by multiple Native American Tribes

  • The Great Plains Dance Company – A group of over 20 young performers from the Dakotas that will highlight the beauty and folklore of various Pow-Wow Competition Dancing Styles.
  • Joe Tohonnie Jr. and the White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers – A group of ceremonial dancers from the White Mountains of Arizona. Come and meet the Apache Medicine-men and feel the power of their dancing and the unmatched voice of Mr. Joe Tohonnie Jr.
  • Jasmine Bell – The world’s BEST female Hoop-Dancer and winner of America’s top Co-ed Hoop-Dancing competitions, Jasmine Bell will show you the art of the Hoop-Dance and the history of this beloved Native American art form.
  • The Traditional Buffalo Dancers – Listen and watch the history of the relationship between man and buffalo as performed by Native American performers.
  • Sky’s Iroquois Smoke Dancers – The Iroquois Nation travels south to exhibit the art of Smoke Dancing, a fast paced dance that will have the audiences clapping and standing on their feet! Do not miss the intense sounds and vibrations of the Smoke Dance as performed by this amazing group of Iroquois dancers.
  • The Miccosukee Indian Stomp Dancers – Come and experience a legendary dance that is part of Miccosukee Indian Tradition and take advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity to dance with the Miccosukee Stomp Dancers on the last two days of the Festival (January 2nd and 3rd ONLY).
  • The Miccosukee Indian Fashion Show – On December 26th and the 27th, the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida will display the very best of Miccosukee Tribal fashion. Come and be mesmerized as a parade of colors and designs bring life to Miccosukee regalia.

Photo opportunities with the dancers will be available after each performance.
