The inaugural #BraveNation Powwow and Gathering will be held March 18, 2017, in the gym of the Jones Athletic Center.

Everyone is invited to join the #BraveNation as we celebrate the rich history and culture of America’s Indigenous peoples. The inaugural event features a social for UNC Pembroke alumni at 4 p.m. This is an alcohol and drug-free event.

• 10 a.m.: Doors open to the public
• 12 p.m.: Grand Entry
• 4-5 p.m.

• 5 p.m.: Contest Finals/Inter-tribal/Results/Closing Ceremonies

Admission

• Adults: $5
• Advance Tickets: $4, available from the Givens Performing Arts Center Box Office (910.521.6361), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Elders (60+): $3
• $1 Off Ticket: Bring three non-perishable items powwow to support UNCP CARE Resource Center.
• UNCP Students (with UNCP ID): Free
• Children (6 and under): Free
• Dancer Registration: $5 per contest
• Drum Registration: $25
