This powwow is Free and for All Ages.
The Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (Ampers) is thrilled to help present Minnesota’s 2nd Annual Bemijigamaag Sanford Center Powwow in Bemidji. One of the goals of this event is to bring Native as well as non-Native Americans from all cultures together in celebration. Whether you have attended or participated in dozens of powwows, or you have never been to one, we hope you will consider joining us for this special event. The powwow is free and everyone is welcome to attend and even participate.
More than 3,500 people came together for the first Bemijigamaag Powwow last spring. It was a groundbreaking event that helped bridge cultural barriers.
