Held in Pahrump, Nevada, which is home to the Paiute and Western Shoshone tribes, the Pahrump Social Powwow gathers guests in a celebration of Native American traditions. The festival features various dance competitions that showcase the diverse array of dance styles performed by the individual tribes. Guests can also sample a wide range of authentic foods and browse through over thirty arts and craft booths. This powwow is traditional, no contest. The Pahrump Powwow is always held the weekend before Thanksgiving at Petrack Park
