With the two venues, in addition to the usual lineup of Native arts, crafts, foods, and music, the Fair will be expanded to host a Pow Wow dance competition open to all Native people across the Americas. The Pow Wow will feature a drum competition of northern and southern drums; a dance competition in northern traditional, southern straight, fancy, grass and chicken for the men; and, northern traditional, southern buckskin, fancy, jingle and northern/southern cloth combined for the women.

Additional categories include teen/junior (8-17 yoa) in northern/southern combined and fancy/grass combined for boys and for girls, northern/southern combined and fancy/jingle combined; Golden Age (50+ yoa) for the men in northern/southern combined and fancy/grass combined and for the women, northern/southern combined and fancy/jingle combined.

Emcee, Arena Director and head staff are still being confirmed. Our host drums are TBA.

Primitive camping facilities will be available for Pow Wow participants and vendors.

Additionally, the Sunday, February 7, concert will feature headline act, TBA, renowned blues artist. Concert is tentatively set for 1:30PM. Additional musical guests and artists are being confirmed at this time.

Alligator wrestling, wildlife shows, and exhibition dancing will also be performed throughout the weekend.

Tribal Member Day is Saturday, January 30, 2016. This day will feature the clothing contests, arts and crafts/fine arts competitions, music and food. This event will be held at the Howard Tiger Recreation Center – 6351 North 30th Street – located on the Hollywood Seminole reservation community and starts at 10 am.
