Join us for a weekend of fellowship and learning American Indian culture and traditions of many nations. A $10 weekend pass allows you to come to this InterTribal event any time Friday for the bonfire and story telling, Saturday after noon Grand Entry and Veterans Ceremonies, We will be honoring a tribe of these lands, the Occanneechi Band of the Saponi Nation. Saturday evening, as weather permits, we will have another round of story telling. Sunday, as Mother’s Day, we will have special moments to recognize all Mothers. This event is free from alcohol & illegal drugs. Service Animals only. Please bring blankets and chairs, sunshade.

The public is welcome to attend the Southern Virginia American Indian Festival as members of many tribes come together to celebrate heritage, stories and fellowship. Friday evening bonfire with story teller Patrick Stewart from 6-9PM. Saturday and Sunday the Gate opens at 10 so you may talk with the 16 Native American tradespeople and a few local non-Native artisans. There will be demonstrations of Village Life, Predator Bird education, and Heritage Resources. The schedule may be changed.
