The nation’s oldest and most prestigious venue for American Indian film arts and entertainment celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary.

The annual Film Festival and American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show is produced by AIFI Founder and President, Michael Smith. The event attracts nearly 5,000 people. The venue highlights the latest in USA American Indian and Canada First Nation cinema.

The screening venue is San Francisco’s AMC Metreon 16 theaters, at 135 Fourth Street and will show from November 6 – 13 the feature and documentary films, music videos, and youth films from AIFI’s Tribal Touring Program.

The Gala 40 Awards Show and Dinner venue for the American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show will be held at San Francisco’s Hotel Nikko at 222 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94102, on Sat., Nov. 14, 2015 at 6 p.m.

This will the the second year the American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show will be taped in front of a live audience for subsequent broadcast November 28, 2015 in select U.S markets to be announced.

The American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show Gala 40 Dinner will include glitz, glamor, music, comedy, and surprises, all Indian style. Twelve major awards will be presented including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Documentary Feature, Short, Music Video and Live Short, are among the awards to be presented.
