The Marin American Indian Alliance (MAIA) is planning their 2nd Annual Marin Powwow to be held March 17th, 2024. They have extended the deadline for their open call for graphic artists to submit a design that can be used on the flyers and t-shirts for their upcoming powwow.

It’s free to enter the contest and all that is required is that you are 18 yrs or older and a resident of California. You need not be indigenous. The MAIA would love to see your designs and select a lucky winner.

The deadline is Jan. 3, 2024.  The winner will receive a cash award and the recognition of their art being used for the official flyer and t-shirts.

For details on how to enter go to https://marinamericanindianalliance.org/2nd-annual-marin-powwow-art-contest/. The art should reflect the spirit of the powwow community as well as imagery all Native nations will relate to.
