2019 Native American Trade Feast in California

Miwok Park at Museum of the American Indian in Novato

You are invited to the Museum of the American Indian’s annual event, the 2019 Native American Trade Feast. This event is free to the public and is family friendly. Save the date: Saturday, September 14th , from 11 am-5 pm.

The Trade Feast is sponsored by the Museum of the American Indian and will take place at Miwok Park, 2200 Novato Blvd., Novato. 94947. Parking will be available off site at the Lutheran Church.

Featured at the event will be Native American arts and crafts including Buffy Smith, Monique Sonoquie, Una Harding, Stephanie Ferris, Red Tail Art, Lorenzo Baca,  Bear Yurok Designs, Karen & Michael’s Specialty Gifts, Lee Zabin, two time exhibitor of the Museum, Becky Olvera Schultz and more.

Performing at the Trade Feast will be Red Voice Drum, Unole Drum, California Indian Dancers, Kalpulli Anahuak Aztec Dancers, Hula Manu O’o Dancers and Hoop Dancer Eddie Madril. There will be Miwok songs and stories, basketry demonstrations, regalia making, shell bead drilling, children activities, book sales and tours of the Museum.

Food will be provided by 7 Generations Intertribal Council Fry Bread, Tommy’s Salsa and Kona Ice.
